Учился на художника, получая специальность резчик по дереву. Изучал классический рисунок, живопись и скульптуру. В данный момент работает над бэками к игре. Планирует издать комикс и сделать по нему анимационный фильм.

1C чего началась ваша карьера, иллюстратора. Когда вы впервые заинтересовались иллюстрацией?
В детстве я часто болел. В то время, пока мои сверстники зубрили таблицу умножения, я, лёжа на больничной койке, срисовывал иллюстрации из книжек и немногочисленных в наших краях комиксов. Затем, уже в училище, осваивая азы классического рисунка и прочего рукоделия, понял, что ничем кроме рисования я просто не способен заниматься. Сразу после первой попытки «оцифровать» свои умения пачкать холсты и бумагу, я побежал в ближайший магазин и скупил все диски с клипартами (с интернетом я познакомился гораздо позже), обложки которых понравились. На одном из этих дисков была подборка с обложками комиксов издательства “Marvel”. Всё это новое «искусство» вдохновило меня гораздо больше, чем картины классических мастеров. Я попробовал нарисовать пару страниц комикса. После того, как я показал своё творение на конкурсе «Комиссия», появился первый заказ. Первый коммерческий заказ.2С какими известными заказчиками вы работали? Вам больше нравится работать с крупными клиентами или мелкими, локальными? Кто из них более капризный?
Легко находить общий язык с увлеченными своим делом людьми. Тут не имеет значения крупный заказчик или мелкий. Не привык разделять на группы. Я с равным успехом рисовал для итальянского журнала комиксов “Passenger”, для книги “ The Ark project” ради удовольствия, и для российских журналов и рекламных агентств за деньги. «Капризными» бывают только скупые люди. К счастью, я с такими не работал.3Если бы не иллюстрация, то чем бы вы стали заниматься в жизни?
Музыкой. Анимацией. Так вышло, что я и так этим всем занимаюсь, но пока больше как любитель. Буду продолжать.4 Откуда вы черпаете вдохновение для создания своих работ?

Жена.6Есть ли у вас границы дозволенного в вашем творчестве?
Нет, но с множеством оговорок.7Приносит ли коммерческая иллюстрация доход, или это скорее оплачиваемое хобби?
Любое хобби, за которое платят деньги, уже профессия.8Какая из ваших работ вам нравится больше всего и почему? (приложите изображение 580px шириной)
Настроение данной иллюстрации пересекается с конкретным этапом жизни. 9Как вы оцениваете уровень иллюстрации в вашей стране?
Многое заставляет восхищаться. Народ стал смелее экспериментировать. Я положительно отношусь к любым процессам. Даже в подражании западным мастерам не вижу ничего плохого. Интересно смотреть, как люди интерпретируют по-своему одну и ту же идею или стилистику.10Как предпочитаешь отдыхать от любимой работы?
Сейчас чаще всего или пытаюсь сочинять музыку для своего проекта, или рисую друзей. А вообще люблю кататься на велосипеде, гулять ночью по улицам. Или отсыпаюсь.11Lost или House M.D.?
House M.D.12Можешь вкратце рассказать, как проходит твой типичный рабочий день?
9 часов в офисе. Ужин. 6-7 часов творчества. Сон или любое другое ночное развлечение на выбор.13Как относитесь к алкоголю и прочим стимуляторам в творчестве и вне творчества?
В рабочие часы для меня наркотиками является тишина и кофе. Не пью, не курю. Верите?14Любимые 3 вещи, без которых вам будет тяжело протянуть и день?
Сотовый телефон, ключи от дома, красная ленточка на левой руке.15В каком направлении планируешь развивать дальше, есть планы?
Достаточно скоро с подругой выпускаем линию одежды с моими принтами. Так же я занимаюсь созданием мультфильма. Хочу соединить воедино все навыки, которыми оброс за всю сознательную жизнь.16У тебя есть предпочтения в одежде? Любимая вещь в гардеробе?
Кеды, джинсы и кофта с капюшоном. Практически все вещи, которые я ношу в данный момент подарены. К сожалению меня нельзя назвать модником. Я бы и тряпкой обмотался, да только народ у нас не спокойный.17С каким клиентом ты бы хотел поработать? (бренд)
55DSL, Adidas, Esquire…Можно мечтать бесконечно, но если есть возможность и силы создать с нуля что-то своё, то я, скорее всего, так и сделаю.Всё чаще замечаю, что предложение рождает спрос, а не наоборот.18Спасибо и напоследок скажи что-нибудь тем тысячам людей, что будут читать твое интервью.

1What did your career as a illustrator start with? When were you interested in illustration for the first time?
I was a delicate child. When my peers were slogging away at their multiplication tables, I, in my hospital bed, drew pictures from books and comics – really exotic things around those parts. Sweating away at academic drawing and other alike things in college it took to me that drawing and illustrating was my only desire and career. The very first experience with digital processing of my painting and drawing made me run into the nearest shop and buy all clip art CDs with catching covers (that moment was too far from my first Internet experience). On one of those CDs there was a collection of Marvel Publishing comic books covers. The impulse I got from that fresh art was much more intense than that of classic paintings.I tried to make some comic papers. Shown my "experiment" in the Commission Contest, I got my first order. My first order that was paid for.2Which famous customers did you work with? Do you like to work with large clients or local companies? Who is more capricious?
I get on well with those people who are absorbed in their work. I never classify my clients: no matter they need one picture or a pile of them. I've cooperated with "Passenger, Italian comic magazine, worked at "The Ark Project" book just for the fun of the thing as well as I draw for Russian magazines and advertising agencies for a fee. Only greedy clients are capricious. Lucky I am not to deal with them.3What would you be engaged in, if not illustration?
Music. Animation and multiplication. The thing is, I'm in it, just as an amateur. But I'm not going to stop my practices.4Where does your inspiration come from?
My friends and communication inspire me.5Who influenced your creativity?
My wife.6Do you have any limits and borders in your creative work?
No, I don’t, but there is a nigger in the woodpile.7Is commercial photography profitable? Or is it just a gainful entertainment?
Any entertainment that is paid for is to be considered profession.8Which of your own works do you like the best?
The mood and pulse of this illustration have much in common with a certain life stage.9How do you estimate the level of illustration in your country?
There are many things to admire with. And there are more trailblazing experiments in art. Any processes I take as positive. To my mind, if artist imitates foreign masters it's not a problem at all. Sometimes the result when the same idea or style are interpreted and recreated may be amazing.10How do you resting from your favorite job?
Now I either write music for my project or draw my friends. Well, I like bike rides and night streets. Or I just catch up on sleep.11Lost or House M.D.?

Nine office hours. Meal. Six-seven hours for work and creation. Sleep or any night entertainment.13What is your relation to alcohol and other exciters in creative life and outside of it?
When I work silence and coffee are my only exciters. No smoking and no alcohol. Believe me?14Name 3 favorite things you can’t imagine life without?
My cell phone, my house key and a red ribbon on my left hand.15Which sphere are you going to deal with? Do you have any plans for future?
Together with my friend we are going to release a clothes line with my prints soon. I'm working at a cartoon at the moment. I'd like to unite all those skills I've got in my life and use them.16Do you have any preferences in clothes? What is you favorite wear?
Keds, jeans and hoodies. I buy almost nothing: my clothes are presents. Fashion is not my hobby horse, unfortunately. Any rags would be enough for me, but some people are so sensitive.17Which Client do you want to work with? (Brand)

En mi ni?ez sol?a estar enfermo. Mis coet?neos en la escuela aprenderon de memoria la tabla de multiplicar y yo, en hospital, copiaba y sacaba dibujos de libros y historietas dibujadas, muy extraordinarias en mi ni?ez. En el colegio, pasando los cursos de dibujo acad?mico y otras cosas de este tipo, realiz? qu? quisiera dibujar. Despu?s de la primera prueba de elaborar mis creaciones en forma digital, en la tienda vecina compr? todos los discos con clip arts con cubiertas interesantes (entonces Internet era cosa desconocida para mi). En uno de los discos era la colecci?n de cubiertas de libros c?micos de Marvel Publishing. Este arte nuevo me inspir? mucho m?s que pinturas de maestros cl?sicos. Trat? de dibujar unas p?ginas de comics. Represent? la obra en el concurso de “Comisi?n” – y recib? mi primer orden: orden pagado.2?Con qu? clientes famosos ha coloborado? ?Qu? le gusta m?s: trabajar con compa??as grandes o locales, privadas? ?Cu?l tipo de clientes es m?s caprichoso?
Se comprende bi?n con personas a quienes les gusta lo que hacen. No importa de que clase es mi cliente: no clasifico personas. En mi "historia" hay colaboraci?n con la revista italiana de historietas "Passenger" y el libro "The Ark Project": para estos dibujaba de inter?s s?lo; y colaboraci?n con muchas revistas y agencias de publicidad rusas que me pagan.
